My partner and I undertook the hypnobirthing course with Danielle and we were so glad we did! To say we felt a little lost and bewildered about what to expect with our first birth, is an understatement. We knew we wanted a natural birth, but had no idea what it would take to make this happen. Danielle talked us through so many aspects of birthing that we had no idea about - including how the healthcare system works. Danielle is passionate about empowering women for their birth. My husband and I attended the hypnobirthing class. The sessions around types of intervention and what impact pharmacological pain relief has on the labour process was the most beneficial for us. It was also great to watch birth videos as part of the class and see women birth in such a strong way. I was too nervous to google birth videos! The additional hypnobirthing resources provided were great, particularly the recorded scripts and birth plan template. I did a lot of birth education prep and I’m glad we did this class as part of it.

Having Danielle as our doula made all the difference throughout my pregnancy journey.She gave us incredible support, guided us so we could make informed choices for the birth, as well as taught my husband and I all the things about Hypnobirthing (such as breathing techniques, natural ways to cope with pain and how my partner could support me). She also took incredible photos of my baby's birth. Such a gift to have them to show my little one when he is older.She recommended some great professionals that were really helpful during my pregnancy and postpartum, such as acupuncture and postpartum midwife. Not to mention her pregnancy massage! It is so relaxing!I definitely would recommend her services regardless of what type of birthyou are looking for (natural or c-section).

I had a 90 minute Ka Huna massage with Danielle and can safely say it was the best massage of my life! I have struggled to find a massage therapist that had the right mix of flow and a good pressure and Danielle was spot on. But it was more than a massage, it was an experience that enabled me to honour myself and rest deeply in Danielle’s capable hands. I was floating on a high for the whole day after. I highly recommend!

Can’t recommended enough the positive birthing program course to any expecting parents. Danielle is amazing. We attribute much of our positive experience during what end up being a long labour to the knowledge and information gained from her. She makes the course interesting and puts everything in easy terms which made us feel confident about our choices and empowered to make the day our baby would arrive in this world memorable. The information gained made it easier and enable us to navigate the constant changes in our birth plan.Danielle makes herself available and is genuinely interested in contributing for you to have a positive experience so even after the course is finished you feel supported. We will be forever thankful that we found the beautiful Danielle and did the Positive Birth Program. You would have to look long and hard to find a more passionate and down to earth soul, we felt so at ease during our two days of birth education and hands on learning. Danielle took my husband and I through her Positive Birth intensive program ahead of the birth of our first baby. The program helped to eliminate anxiety about giving birth by building up our understanding of birth physiology and the labour process, as well as our understanding of the typical medical processes and available interventions offered in hospitals. We learnt some great techniques for preparing for and getting through labour in a calm and positive way, as well as how to advocate for ourselves and our preferences if things did not go as planned. Both my husband and I felt much better prepared and ready following the class. My mindset in particular was much calmer and positive in the lead up to my labour, and we both felt the class made all the difference during my labour experience. Highly recommend for those who want to feel empowered and calm ahead of and through their birthing experience.

We had quite a traumatic experience with our first pregnancy which ended in a loss, so it was really important for us to have a beautiful, positive experience this time round. Danielle helped facilitate that by giving us the tools we needed to achieve the birthing experience we dreamt of. If you are pregnant or are a birthing partner/support person you must do this course! You won’t be disappointed. I was intially so scared and anxious about labour, not knowing what to expect and planning on “going with the flow” (worst thing you can do Danielle explains why). Now I am feeling super excited and 100% confident! My favourite part of the course was learning my rights and how to advocate for myself with care providers (specially with inductions, episiotomy and delayed cord clamping). This course has literally changed my life, thank you Danielle!! It has given me a complete different view on labour and how I’m able to have a positive birth. Most importantly though, I love how much my partner enjoyed this course - he found it extremely informative, he feels so ready for the big day. He’s been telling his friends and clients all about it. I would recommend this class to everyone. It’s so, so important!! It was the best investment we made during pregnancy. The techniques we learnt also helped me so much during a very stressful pregnancy. I think my experience definitely shows that hypnobirthing isn’t just “woo woo and Birkenstocks” or for people who have an intervention free birth. jack is normally a “freeze” in stressful situations but he was so calm and confident and supported me so well, he normally is very squeamish but thanks to all the birth videos we watched in class he watched her being born with no problem. I’ve had a really, really great start to postpartum thanks to a positive birth experience, I’m super thankful I found Danielle!

We attended this course after having done an a fairly popular online pre-natal course and I can confidently say this was absolutely fantastic. The guys in the 2 day session were just as engaged as the ladies - which normally would be a fairly hard task. This is the perfect course to counter the classic line of "there's nothing you can really do as a guy", because as you'll learn there is PLENTY you can do. This is an absolute must do and I've said to a few people, I think this needs to be run in every hospital, for everyone, everywhere.Gents - if you're like me and you'retrying to work out what you can to to help and how you can advocate for your partner, instead of listening to the old guys telling you there's nothing you can do, do this course and you'll realise there is tonnes you can do to support your partner.10/10 - we've recommended to literally everyone we know who is on thr baby track!

I can not thank you enough! Your class really helped my partner and I feel prepared for the labour and delivery.I’m not sure if you remember, but I was diagnosed with gestation diabetes. Prior to attending your class I was worried that my dream of having a spontaneous labour and a medical intervention free delivery was not possible for me. My care providers used a lot of fear based language to try and convince me that an early induction at 38 weeks was the safest option, waiting longer would increase the risk of still birth.Your classes prepared me for that exact conversation! The information that I acquired from your teachings, I was able to make an informed decision and had the courage to stand my ground and decline the induction.I went into spontaneous labour at 39 + 3 weeks and bub was born 20 hours later.I also want to thank you for the techniques you taught us. They really helped my partner and I have such a wonderful labour experience. Using the breathing technique, the soft touches and the words of affirmation, helped us stay connected throughout the entire labour process.

Cannot recommend this course enough with Danielle- should be mandatory for all soon to be parents. Really informative, interactive, and empowering. My husband and i recently completed a Hypnobirthing course with Danielle (Sacred Space) and i cannot recommend more highly. Being our third child, we did the first day as a group session and the second day was tailored to us individually, focusing on the VBAC process. Danielle was so welcoming, warm and you could feel her genuine care throughout the process. We both learnt so much and feel incredibly informed and empowered going into our birthing experience. We also feel much better equipped with the tools and resources to support our goals and for myself, it made such a difference to my mindset. For my husband specifically, it was great for him to have a firm understanding of his role and how he can assist; both on the day but also leading up to it. If you're thinking about it, my advice is to do it! We got so much more out of this process than we ever did in antenatal classes. Danielle is your gal! x

Since doing a private hypnobirthing class with Danielle, my midwife appointments have been so much more insightful because I come in with questions and it’s not just the usual measure baby, check heart rate, then leave.
